New Ladder To Success

When someone tries to ruffle your feathers, the best way to handle the situation is to stay cool.

Oh, really? Unless you are made out of metal, anybody consists of flesh and blood can react emotionally and irrationally. I know. I know. We shouldn’t take matters personally. But tell me, since when we can slip off our human body and put on the physique of a zombie?

So the reality is, someone pushes your button, you get mad, and then it comes to this crucial step of humanism – you learn how not to get affected by the terrible things people throw at you, i.e. discrimination, false accusations, injustice, verbal attacks, etc.

Here are some ideas to make you invincible: 

• Read a book like Mind Over Mood: Change How You Feel by Changing the Way You Think
• Take a walk outside
• Redirect your attention to other beautiful things around you 
• Talk to somebody who cares 
• Consider your family, friends and love ones - important people who believe in you 
• Count your blessings

By doing lots of practice, you can be so good that people will come to believe you are a zombie. Oh, no, I really mean, you are cool under fire…
